Optimize your lasers with additional functions

TRUMPF offers you sophisticated solutions that make your production safer, more efficient, and more transparent. Whether monitoring, data storage or interfaces - discover the smart functions to configure our fiber lasers according to your requirements.

BrightLine Mode – Variable beam profile for less spatter

With the BrightLine Mode function, you can weld copper, aluminum, mild steel or stainless steel virtually spatter-free. Our patented 2-in-1 laser light cable with singlemode core and multimode ring is robustly spliced to the laser. This allows the laser power to be flexibly distributed between the core and the ring so that it can then be combined in the optics depending on the application. The ring jet enlarges and stabilizes the opening of the keyhole so that the process gases can escape more easily. This enables low-spatter welding even at high speeds.
The advantage: A stable process control with full control over the power distribution, stable, clean weld seams and less rework.

Laser power control for the TruFiber fiber laser
Constant laser power for consistent quality

With active power regulation, the laser power remains stable at 100% over the entire service life. This intelligent power control continuously monitors the output power of your laser and automatically adjusts the diode voltage as soon as deviations are detected.
The advantage: The integrated power reserve ensures that your TruFiber P operates at optimum nominal power throughout its entire service life - without manual readjustments.

Store and evaluate process data securely

Save and visualize your individually defined data from lasers, optics and process sensors directly during the process - precisely and synchronously. This data stays with you exclusively.

The benefit: time and cost savings thanks to rapid failure analysis when it matters.

Programmable focusing optics

Programmable focusing optics (PFO) use mirrors to direct the laser beam to any desired position in the processing field - without moving the workpiece or optics. Thanks to the integrated real-time control loop, the laser hits the target precisely. The robust design with back-reflection protected collimator housing and sensor-based stray light monitoring ensures long-lasting, reliable operation. Can be combined with various sensor systems for process monitoring from TRUMPF or external suppliers via an interface.

Focusing optics

The focusing optics (BEOs) focus the laser beam on the workpiece. The focal point of the lens is the processing point on the workpiece. Depending on the aspect ratio, they apply the full beam quality of the laser for precise applications or work with an increased working distance for processes with a wider diameter or expected spatter formation. As the processing point is fixed, the BEOs must be moved along an axis or the workpiece is passed under the optics. Thanks to the modular design, the optics can be optimally configured for the machining process. Various functions such as Crossjet, protective glass monitoring and process sensors such as VisionLine are available. Bi- and multifocal beam output is also possible in order to process a workpiece at several points.
